This project derives from reflection on the period of the Corona pandemic, which has been characterized by social distancing, the absence of intimacy and the absence of physical contact, as well as by the dominance of technology which has become a substitute for dialogue and interaction. I created a time capsule containing pieces of jewelry that imitate our daily routines and convey the spirit of the era from my point of view: “Absence of Contact” is a series of jewelry pieces that imitate intimate situations and are intended to be worn jointly and to affect the interaction between the two people wearing them; “Technological Servitude” imitates the daily activities we carry out by means of the technologies that surround us, such as scrolling the wheel on a computer mouse and binge-watching media, including rings that place emphasis on the endless hours of screens we watched throughout this period; “Keeping Distance” is assembled from a kit that signifies the distance we must keep between ourselves and others and the boundaries we designate around our personal space. Materials: 925 silver square profile, stainless steel wire, handmade springs, time capsule from aluminum. Techniques: Various silversmith techniques. Mentor: Yaron Ronen Theoretical Advising: Yael Taragan
