Due to the last year, in which we had to spend a lot of time at home, I feel a new relationship was created between the ‘me’ and ‘home’. In my final project, I chose to learn and examine the intimate relationship between body, clothing and home. The extended duration at home created ambivalent situations; it made me understand how comfortable, calm and protected I feel in my own environment and yet vulnerable and bare. The strong intimacy that was created between me and myself and me and my home is in the range between a connection of love and understanding to anxiety and vulnerability. In this new world, I discovered the magic that lingerie holds. Lingerie is used as a protection to the naked body; it hides and shows simultaneously. The collection expresses my personal feelings that rose during my stay at home, the fear and love, the will, and the need to feel at ease and calm, and yet protected and under control.
