Digitally processed bamboo With the advent of new technologies, we can now revisit the use of bamboo as an industrial raw material. Rather than adapting the bamboo to the machine, we can adapt the machines to bamboo and create a unique production line. What will the encounter between digital and natural, between the variable and the repetitive, and between the flexible and the accurate, look like? What marks, scars, and imprints will the digital machine leave on the bamboo, and what design language will emerge in a manufacturing process where the changing raw material sets the tone?
