I am Chris, Christina. I immigrated to Israel with my parents at the age of 7 from Siberia, Russia. I'm half Jewish and half Christian. My combined identity was my biggest shame then. My journey began by collecting memories from my childhood photo album and from them, I tell the story about my immigration to Eretz Israel. The desire to belong The fear of being different, and the shame of not belonging. My combined roots that designed my identity - this is my final project. My collection connects together different worlds, featuring five outfits that can be used in many different fashions. My final project is victory over the shame and fear of being different. So my project is no longer about shame, It talks about freedom and pride. Materials: Wool, lace, faux fur. Techniques: Burning, sewing, weaving Mentor: Claudette Zorea Theoretical Advising: Dr. Tal Frenkel Alroy
