Memoir: an eternity of dreams
“What is the meaning of my existence?”, This is the question that accompanies us since the day we were born, but we become aware of it when we reach certain situations in our lives; here, we begin a search for this meaning that we so long for. We begin a journey through seven cycles that the soul goes through in order to perfect itself and make corrections so that, in the end, we can reach the meaning of our existence. The seven cycles: life, faith, love, dreams, despair, eternity and death, accompany us all our lives. In them, we go through various processes through which we learn about our mistakes and make corrections. The project is a conceptual, philosophical, and artistic creation derived from my creative world. Each cycle is presented as a clothing system that is all handmade, from soft and hard materials that I processed and assembled myself. Materials: Jeans, tulle, synthetic fabrics, wool and silk yarns, expanding ink (puff), paper, plastic bags, writing ink, cellulose for the burnout technique, acrylic paintings, hot glue, lacquer spray Techniques: Draping, knitting, sculpting, burnout, unstitching, coloring, writing and drawing, sublimation printing Mentor: Yael Targan
