Water Fold
Using natural phenomena to create a connection between man at home and his external environment The life of tree continues even after it was cut down, and as a raw material, wood changes in response to the conditions in its environment: cold, heat, and humidity. In the industry, this is considered a disadvantage and efforts are made to counteract it. Water Fold actually wishes to utilize it. Veneer is a material made of a thin layer of wood that tends to fold and roll in contact with moisture or water. In the project, veneer is used to design a series of three shutters that shrink and expand in response to a change in humidity in the outdoor environment, thus affecting the luminosity of daylight that comes into the built space and the atmosphere in it.
